Christmas Jumper Day 18.12.2015

10th December 2015

Dear Parents

On the last day of term, Friday 18th December, we are holding a non-uniform ‘Christmas Jumper Day’ for all secondary students. Students are invited to come in to school wearing a Christmas jumper. If they do not own a Christmas jumper, then they may wear anything along a Christmas theme such as a Christmas hat or scarf or even a little tinsel. Please may we ask that students donate £1 in return for not wearing uniform. We are raising money for Text Santa (Macmillan, Save the Children, Make a Wish).

Throughout the day, there will also be plenty of optional fun events, such as a dance activity, concert, football tournament and film club for the students to take part in and they are being made aware of these in their tutor time this morning. If they wish to take part in any of these events, we are asking for a further 50p per event but all events are completely optional. If students do not want to participate in any of the events, lessons will still continue and there will be alternative activities and quizzes happening in classrooms.

We are very proud for our students to support this cause and are grateful for your support as parents.

Yours sincerely

Mr L McCormack & Sixth Form Student Leadership Team
