B. Brumpton, G. Herbert, O. Jackson, K. Garlick, K. Swanson and E. Long have all done extremely well in qualifying for the County U15 championships to be held on Saturday July 14th at Corby A.C.
B.Brumpton not only came joint 1st in the District 100m, but will also represent the District in the 400m and relay. K. Long, having represented the District in Cross Country back in January, has maintained her fitness and will be racing in the County 800m race.
K. Garlick – who recently qualified to represent the East Midlands in the very tough and competitive sport of swimming, has also won through in Athletics and will represent the District in the 800m too. G. Herbert will unfortunately miss out in the competition due to other commitments but would have competed in the 1500m race.
Also a well-done to Z. McKainey who finished 3rd in the District Discus competition and will be reserve. Well-done to all and the best of luck next Saturday.
