Global Entrepreneurship Week 16th to 20th November 2009

Global Entrepreneurship Week is celebrated all over the world with schools, colleges, universities and businesses in over 70 countries taking part in activities. Caroline Chisholm will be marking the week with a range of different events. In addition to a large scale social enterprise challenge for Year 7, there will be competitions open to all students and staff which will include a share trading competition, Spot the Entrepreneur and “Who Said That?” based on inspirational quotes from well known people from the world of business. Our sixth form students will also be taking part with a number of enterprising projects being launched in aid of charity and a small group attending a “Create your Future” day at Northampton University. We are extremely pleased that Woodland View Primary School will also be taking part in a collaborative enterprise project, developed by Kate Wyhiwsky and based on our social enterprise challenge.
