21st May 2014
I am writing to inform you that as from today students in Year 11 are able to go on study leave. Whilst students are now able to stay at home to revise for their exams, they are welcome to come into school and revise if they feel this environment is more productive for them. Staff will be able to provide support and quiet rooms will be available for students to work in.
We have been extremely impressed with the students so far during the exam period and would like to congratulate them on their positive attitude and conduct in exams, which has been impeccable.
The revision schedule that has been sent previously will continue as before and some subject teachers may also arrange additional revision sessions with their groups, both of which we would encourage as many students as possible to attend.
When in school, students are required to continue wearing school uniform and will need to sign ‘in and out’ at student services unless they are coming in for a specific exam.
Year 11 will have a celebration day on June 17th, during which students can dress up, awards given and we will look back at their time at Caroline Chisholm. Students should arrive for 9.30. Whilst this is optional we hope to see as many students as possible on this day.
The list below provides a brief overview of some of the key dates over the next few weeks and months. Details of the sixth form induction will follow at a later date.
