Many happy students picked up their results from Caroline Chisholm School this morning. Overall, they have all done extremely well with an amazing 76% of students getting grade 4 or higher in both Maths and English, with 21% achieving the English Baccalaureate.
We are so proud that almost 10% of students achieved the very highest grades with Ellie Hamilton-Begley achieving 8 GCSE’s at grade 9, Adam Duffy and Bowan Wang achieving 6 GCSE’s grade 9, Lily-Anna Cobb achieving 5 GCSE’s grade 9 and Charlie Atkins achieving 4 GCSE’s grade 9. Overall, 78% of all GCSE’s entered were grade 4 of above with 10% above the national figure.
Mr James, the principal, has said students have worked incredibly hard this year particularly when you consider the difficulties they have had to overcome due to the flooding. We are extremely proud of all of them, we look forward to seeing many of them next year in our Sixth Form and wish those going on to other destinations the very best of luck in the future.
