Year 7 dominates the BMX track
Update - 9 October 2025
Freya is now in Year 7 and has raced in the European Championships in Latvia and the World Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark. In the European Championships, she placed 2nd and in the World Championships, she placed 7th.
This has earned her two prestigious bike plate numbers, E2 and W7, which she can race with for the following year (only the top 8 can use their position as a plate).
What an amazing achievement Freya! A massive well done on representing your country.

Year 6 student Freya is pedalling to the top, claiming her first national victory in BMX racing.
Freya has always had a love for riding bikes, and around two and a half years ago, she discovered her true passion—BMX racing. Since joining the Milton Keynes BMX Club, she's been unstoppable on the track.
At the recent National BMX Series in Scotland on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th May, Freya delivered an outstanding performance against 21 top riders from across the UK in her age group. On Saturday, she raced her way to an impressive 3rd place, but she didn’t stop there—on Sunday, she stormed to victory, taking 1st place and earning her very first National win!
Thanks to her incredible results in last year’s National BMX Series, Freya has caught the attention of the BMX world. She is now proudly sponsored by an Elite BMX Team and has officially qualified to represent Great Britain at the World Championships in Copenhagen this summer, a phenomenal achievement!
Freya’s journey is just beginning, and after her breakthrough weekend in Scotland, she’s more determined than ever to keep climbing the podium and racing with the best in the world.
