U14 Boys County Cup Football - 22/11/22
Our U14 Boys Football team met Abbeyfield last night for their most recent County Cup game.
A fantastic start to the game saw CCS in control and managing the game well. A sloppy end to the half saw the scores 1-1 at half time.
A stalemate in the 2nd half with a few excellent saves from the Abbeyfield goalkeeper and a crucial late save with 20 seconds remaining from F.McMillan in goal for CCS. CCS won 4-2 on penalties with F.McMillan saving and all of the takers converting theirs for CCS.
Player of the match is awarded to both F McMillan for his penalty save and D Lehane for an excellent defensive performance
