  • 500 words competition winners

    Last Friday, we announced the winners of our CCS 500 words competition. As part of our focus on writing for pleasure, we encouraged all students to enter the BBC 500 words competition and run our own parallel competition in school.

    After reading over 100 entries, the judges had a very difficult time in selecting the eventual winners.

    Many congratulations to Advik, Ailiyah, Ella, Eva, Gabriela, Harrison, Jack, Oliver, Rafay, Reggie, Rose, and Shreeya!

  • Academy Trust: Annual General Meeting

  • Sixth Form Open Evening - 2024/25

    We have had to make a small change to the date of our Sixth Form Open Evening and can confirm this will now take place on Wednesday 10 January 2024. Applications for our September 2024 intake will open on the same day.

  • New and improved: CCS Vision and Values

    Last year’s wellbeing survey feedback prompted us to look again at the CCS vision, where we describe the school we want to be. 

    Trustees supported a change to reflect how important people’s wellbeing is to us - just one of the many things we are doing to make sure wellbeing is properly integrated in the work we do. The new and improved version is now available to view on the CCS website.
