Here at Caroline Chisholm School we want all of our young people to feel happy and safe at school. We do not tolerate bullying and we take all reports seriously. Our Anti-Bullying Policy, which can be found here outlines our steps we take to prevent and deal with bullying. We are a “telling” school and we educate our young people to report all incidents of bullying they might see.
We are working with the Anti Bullying Alliance and we have included some information pages for you and your children, which may be useful. The following link also has further information – especially defining what bullying is.
In addition to this we have recently introduced Anti-Bullying Ambassadors.
A number of House Captains from Year 8 and 10 were taken to complete Anti-Bullying Ambassador training with the Diana Award. They have created a vision for the school and an action plan to tackle any bullying incidents. Their aims are to make all students feel safe and comfortable reporting any bullying. There will be a postbox by the LRC for students to voice any concerns, as well as a dedicated Anti-Bullying email address: firstname.lastname@example.org
Our goal is to put an end to all bullying.
