Global Issues – Environmental
Synoptic study of environmental geography issues including causes, impacts and responses of climatic and earth hazards and ecosystems and environments under threat.
Unit of work in preparation for an exam assessing geographical skills using the fieldwork from year 12 to plan and prepare an investigation into sand dune succession. Study into the process of conducting a geographical investigation and the data collection, presentation, evaluation and limitations. Plus work on a range of skills including statistical analysis, risk assessment and sampling techniques.
