The Visual Art department took 64 Year 11 students to the Victoria & Albert Museum and Tate Britain in London on Monday 13^th January 2025. Students have been given their exam themes and have chosen one theme to explore. The trip gave students the opportunity to start their contextual research into live artworks at two of London's major galleries and to kick-start the exam process. The students were fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed the expedition (even though the return journey took 3 ½ hours!). Students will now use the information that they gathered on the trip to help them develop ideas for their exam projects.
