Open Events – September 2022 intakes
Thank you to everyone who attended our Open Evening for Year 7 September 2022 intake on Wednesday 13 October, it was lovely to meet many prospective students and their families. We have also created a series of online videos and materials for both parents and students to watch at their own leisure, to "meet" some of our Leadership Team and Faculty Leaders, and further explore our fantastic school. Please click here to view.
Thank you to all parents of potential Foundation stage applicants who attend our open days in November and December. It was so lovely to meet all of you. A reminder that the closing date for applications is 5pm on 15 January 2022. For more information on our Early years provision please click here to view our dedicated page.
We had hoped to be able to host potential Sixth Form applicants during an Open Evening in January 2022 but due to increases in the new Omicron variant cases, and the desire to keep everyone safe, our Open Event will be virtual again this year. Our event will be launched via our website at 9am on Wednesday 19 January so please visit our website then. Applications will open at 9am on Thursday 20 January.

Welcome to our admissions page
We have grown substantially since opening our doors in September 2004 and are currently home to in excess of 2000 students. Demand for places at our school is high but as an all-through school, pupils that are admitted to our primary phase and remain until end of Year 6, automatically transition into Year 7 without the need for parents to re-apply.
A copy of our current Admissions Policy and further relevant information and documents can be found at the foot of this page. All applications to our school (except for our post-16 phase which are made directly to us) must first be made to West Northamptonshire Council. Please go to https://www.westnorthants.gov.uk/school-admissions for more details on in-year and co-ordinated applications.
As well as the transition to Early Years Foundation Stage and Year 7, we always welcome applications from students who wish to request an in-year transfer. For in-year applications, where a year group is full, we operate a waiting list which lasts until the end of the academic year for which the application is made. If you wish to keep your child on the waiting list for any subsequent academic year, you must re-apply as above.
Our published admission number (PAN) for our transition years are:
Foundation Stage – 60 places
Year 7 – 219 external places (in addition to 60 places for our Year 6 Primary phase pupils)
Sixth Form - 50 external places (in addition to existing Year 11 students who wish to apply) - all applicants are subject to our minimum entry requirements for Sixth Form.
All applicants, including those on the waiting list where an in-year place becomes available, are considered and allocated a space in accordance with our admissions criteria. Our current admissions criteria for each phase of our school can be found at the foot of this page.
If you have applied for, but have been unsuccessful in obtaining a place for your child at our school, you have the right to appeal for a place.

Supplementary information form
The supplementary information form was a requirement/overhang from previous years’ admission, which we have discussed with the Local Authority, and agreed we no longer require. We have therefore removed it from our website.
Other than making the application via the Local Authority, there is nothing further applicants need to do. Any forms that have been returned to us already have been safely deleted/destroyed from our records.
