Having taken up competitive swimming just two years ago, Milan has already established himself as a dedicated and highly successful athlete. He currently trains with the Performance 2 talent squad at Northampton Swimming Club (NSC), for up to two hours a day, totalling 12 hours each week, with some sessions starting as early as 5am. 

Among his many achievements, Milan has won numerous gold medals at Swim England local and regional competitions. Earlier this year, he competed at the 2025 County Championships in Corby, where he achieved an outstanding result — becoming Northamptonshire County Champion (gold) in all 18 possible races for his age group. He is now aiming to repeat this remarkable success in January/February.

Milan is currently ranked within the top five fastest swimmers in England for his age group in the butterfly stroke, and within the top 15–25 nationally across most other strokes. He has also already achieved qualifying times for the East Midlands Regional Championships, where he went on to compete for medals in seven events — despite being a year younger in the 11/12 age category.
