My Child at School - New parent portal
Following our communication in early March regarding the move to new school information system, Bromcom, we are writing to confirm that the My Child at School (MCAS) Parent app has now launched for Caroline Chisholm School.
MCAS replaces EduLink and is now our main platform for accessing school information and communication. It is designed to provide a clearer, more efficient way for families to stay informed and engaged with school life.
Registration emails have been sent to all parents and carers (with parental responsibility). Please do look out for these to register your account. If you have not received your login details by 4pm today (Wednesday 15th April), please email BromcomEnquiries@ccs.northants.sch.uk and we will ensure your details are checked and reissued where necessary.
What you can access now
As part of our phased rollout, you can currently:
- View your child’s timetable
- Access behaviour and achievement information
- View attendance information
As we continue with the phased rollout, further features will be added, including school communications, booking options for in-house clubs and trips, and access to additional school services such as payments. This gradual approach ensures the system is introduced smoothly and allows us to provide a reliable, joined-up platform for families.
Student Access
Secondary students will be shown how to access the Bromcom Student Portal this week in school. This will allow them to view their timetable, homework, behaviour and other key information using their school login details.
Please do not share your MCAS login details with your child, as students will have their own separate access.
ParentPay
There is no change to payments at this stage. ParentPay will continue to be used for school dinners, trips and clubs for the remainder of the academic year.
