Caroline Chisholm School

  • We Value Kindness

Building a community where everyone feels safe and valued. It teaches empathy, inclusion, and respect; qualities that underpin strong relationships and positive mental health. Kindness ensures that care for others remains central to all learning and behaviour.

  • We Value Curiosity

Driving a love of learning and discovery. It encourages children and young people to ask questions, think critically, and explore the world with open minds. A curious learner becomes a lifelong learner; adaptable, creative, and ready to face change.

  • We Value Integrity

Doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. It fosters honesty, trust, and accountability; the foundation for strong character and good citizenship. It unites academic learning with moral development across every age group.

  • A Welcome From Our Head of Sixth Form

"It is a privilege to work with such a vibrant and aspirational community of young people as they take the next step in their educational journey. In my role, I am committed to ensuring that every student is supported academically, personally, and socially so they can flourish both inside and outside the classroom. Working closely with our dedicated Sixth Form team, I strive to create an environment where students feel empowered, valued, and confident to pursue their ambitions.

Whether students are preparing for university, apprenticeships, or the world of work, our focus is on helping each individual develop the skills, independence, and resilience needed for the future.

I look forward to working with you and supporting you throughout this exciting and transformative stage of your education."

    A Welcome From Our Principal

“Welcome to Caroline Chisholm School. I am proud to lead a thriving all‑through community where every student, from our youngest in Reception to those in Sixth Form, is encouraged to grow in confidence, aim high, and feel truly supported. At the heart of our school are three guiding values: kindness, curiosity, and integrity. These values shape everything we do. We expect our students to do the right thing, in the right place, at the right time - demonstrating respect for others, a commitment to learning, and a strong moral compass in all aspects of school life.

I look forward to working with you and your family as we embark on this exciting journey together.”

  • In Their Own Words Testimonials

  • I’ve been a student at Caroline Chisholm School since enrolling in reception in 2013 and each year spent here, I have gained countless impactful experiences. The primary team was excellent at challenging my learning, pushing me to my academic limits and beyond, this motivation carried me through Secondary school where my foundations were built on significantly. Now in Sixth form, I can honestly say my experience at Caroline Chisholm school can only be described as faultless, due to the staff, resources, my peers and environment. I am extremely grateful to have the opportunity to attend Caroline Chisholm and be part of the Student Leadership team.

  • CCS isn’t just a school - it feels like another community I can call home. Not just the building, but the amazing staff and students within it. Since my first day of Year 7, I’ve had teachers who consistently looked out for me. From the Aspire team who have been with me ever since, to the sixth form staff who support me now, i feel lucky to have such a village. As someone who used to struggle to communicate how I felt, my subject teachers and other staff have always made me feel welcome, and I rarely worry about asking for a helping hand.

  • CCS has given me so much more than just a great education. The school has actively supported me in pursuing external opportunities that are helping me grow and work towards my ambitions, including aspiring to a degree apprenticeship. Joining Model UN has been a real highlight too, sparking a passion for politics and debating that I know will stay with me. With so many extracurricular clubs on offer, there's truly something for everyone. If you're looking for a place that invests in you as a person, not just a student, then CCS is that place.

  • I have recently joined Caroline Chisholm School for Sixth Form in 2025. When joining this school, I felt very welcome and heard, my worries were taken onboard by the Sixth Form Team, and my teachers have also been a constant support for me as well. My learning has been expanded by my teachers, and my peers have been as equally kind too. CCS Sixth Form is an amazing environment for people joining the school as well as people who have progressed up the school. With the teachers, students and resources being an amazing standard, CCS Sixth Form is for everybody.
