U15 cricket v NSB - 24/06/25

In a competitive cricket fixture, Caroline Chisholm School (CCS) fell to a 65-run defeat at the hands of Northampton School for Boys (NSB), despite a promising start with the ball.

CCS opened strongly with disciplined bowling, applying early pressure on the NSB top order. Lily H. made an impact with a well-earned wicket, helping restrict the scoring rate. However, NSB’s Jacob G. steadied the innings with a composed knock, retiring unbeaten on 30, anchoring his team’s total and allowing the middle order to build momentum. NSB finished with a strong total that set a challenging target for CCS.

CCS were eventually bowled out well short of the target, falling 65 runs behind.

It was a spirited effort from CCS, particularly with the ball early on, but NSB’s depth and quality ultimately saw them take a deserved win.
