Year 8 Girls Football Tournament

Year 8 Girls Football Tournament – Match Report
Hosted at CCS | Supported by Go Lead Project Girls

The Year 8 Girls Football Tournament took centre stage at CCS on Wednesday 23 April, with five talented teams battling it out in an exciting evening of sport, spirit, and teamwork. With the season drawing to a close, the tournament gave the girls one final chance to take to the pitch and showcase their skills – and they certainly delivered!

Champions:
A huge congratulations to CCS A Team in Green, who emerged as the overall winners of the tournament.

Player of the Tournament:
A standout performer throughout the evening, A. Knight was named Player of the Tournament.

Support & Inspiration:
The event was brilliantly supported by our Go Lead Project girls from Year 9 and 10, who earlier in the year took part in the Barclays Project for Girls Football. Their leadership and encouragement on the night played a big part in the tournament’s success.

A Great End to the Season:
All five teams played with fantastic enthusiasm, and it was clear that everyone enjoyed the chance to be part of one final tournament before the school football season wraps up.

Where to next?
