So far this season the boys have won every game in the league and fallen at the semi-final stage in the County Cup, so a really strong season so far! On Monday 27 March, we travelled to Sponne to finish our District League season with a different looking squad due to illnesses and injuries.

The match itself started off evenly with not many chances in the first half. C.Seaman, our usual attacker was filling in goal and had to be called into action a few times to keep the score at 0-0 until half-time. In the 2^nd half, with changes being made to formation and the line-up, CCS broke the deadlock with some excellent play by L.Abello out wide providing an assist for M.Gyan to head home. Goals for L.Campbell and J.Bedford twinned with another assist for L.Abello sealed the win with CCS comfortably seeing out the remainder of the game.

An excellent 2^nd half performance on a difficult pitch finishes off the district campaign in style with the Y9 boys winning the South Northants District League winning every game  Final Score Sponne 0 – 3 CCS.
