  • CCS celebrates Children’s Mental Health Week

    Children’s Mental Health Week 2024 focused on young people’s voices.  CCS promoted this theme with assemblies, competitions and getting students involved in recording the below two videos to help raise awareness throughout the school.  We are proud to share these and celebrate our young people’s performances.  Mental Health Stigmaencourages people to talk about their feelings, while ‘Wellbeing Myth-buster’ separates the truths from the myths about mental health and bullying.

  • 500 words competition winners

    Last Friday, we announced the winners of our CCS 500 words competition. As part of our focus on writing for pleasure, we encouraged all students to enter the BBC 500 words competition and run our own parallel competition in school.

    After reading over 100 entries, the judges had a very difficult time in selecting the eventual winners.

    Many congratulations to Advik, Ailiyah, Ella, Eva, Gabriela, Harrison, Jack, Oliver, Rafay, Reggie, Rose, and Shreeya!
