Educational Visits - ParentPay Terms and Conditions
By proceeding with this payment, parents and carers acknowledge and agree that:
- Payment of a deposit or contribution does not guarantee a place on the educational visit.
- Participation in all educational visits is subject to an individual risk assessment, including consideration of a student’s behaviour, conduct and ability to follow instructions in an off-site setting.
- The school reserves the right to withdraw a student from a visit if it is determined that the health, safety or welfare of the student, other students or staff cannot be adequately safeguarded.
- Where a student is unable to attend a visit following risk assessment, this decision is made on safety grounds only and is not a disciplinary sanction.
- Deposits and payments are used to secure external bookings and are therefore non-refundable, unless the school is able to recover costs from the visit provider.
- Where a student does not attend a visit, appropriate alternative educational provision will be made by the school.
- Parents and carers are responsible for fully disclosing all relevant medical conditions, health needs and requirements at the time requested by the school. Failure to disclose such information may result in additional costs being incurred, for which the school cannot accept responsibility.
- Parents and carers agree to ensure the prompt collection of their child if required during an educational visit. Where the school incurs additional costs as a result of a failure to collect a student, parents and carers agree to reimburse these costs in full.
- Parents and carers acknowledge that an information evening may be held for residential visits and are encouraged to attend to ensure they fully understand the arrangements, expectations and requirements of the visit.
By making this payment, parents and carers confirm their understanding and acceptance of these terms and conditions.
