High Performance Learning - Primary Phase and Secondary Phase
The Teaching and Learning Team would like to thank all students, parents, carers and staff for their full support and engagement throughout this term - amidst difficult circumstances, we have all made great progress with remote learning.
In order to celebrate our students’ achievements and to reflect on the amazing hard work, resilience and perseverance skills our students have exhibited, we wanted to share some examples of the exemplary teaching and learning that has taken place at Caroline Chisholm School; we are so proud of the efforts of our school community.
The examples in the attachments below focus on our High Performance Learning (HPL) vision. The HPL philosophy highlights that the Values, Attitudes and Attributes (VAAs) and the Advanced Cognitive Performance characteristics (ACPs) “need to become so much a part of the way the school operates that they become the language of the school used by students as well as staff and parents” – and so we encourage parents to engage with the philosophy as much as possible. Both the ACPs (how our students learn) and the VAAs (how our students behave) positively impact teaching and learning across both Primary and Secondary phases in all subjects.
Thank you for your continued support and we hope you have a lovely, well-rested half term.
