Year 7 - Home testing
Year 7 students will have come home today with COVID-19 self test kits to use if you would like your child to take part in home testing. Please note that as with our on-site provision, testing is voluntary and any student who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 90 days should not take part.
The kits are slightly different to the tests students have been using as part of our on-site testing programme, as these tests require both nasal and throat samples. We have uploaded lots of useful guidance on our website via: www.ccs.northants.sch.uk/lfd-testing-at-home to help familarise you and your child with the testing process.
It’s important that each test administered is registered via the Gov website: https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result and our school MS Form: https://forms.office.com/r/nywpCHEhGW even if the result is negative or void.
If your child is unable to use the test kits at home, but you would still like them to be involved, please email Mrs Jewell via: firstname.lastname@example.org and we will organise testing on-site as an alternative.
Just a final reminder that on Monday 13 September Year 7 students will be having their school photograph taken during the school day, so please do ensure your child is dressed in full uniform, as PE kits are not required on this day.
