Upcoming CCS Friends’ Christmas initiatives – get involved today!

Jingle Bell Jog

Our festive fun run is right around the corner, and there’s still time to grab your tickets if you haven’t already. Dig out your best Christmas fancy dress, and join us on Sunday 3 December* at 10am, where you can walk, jog or run around the nature trail at Caroline Chisholm School with 2 routes available (1 or 3 miles). *Incorrect date of Saturday 2 December was detailed in the Principal’s Bulletin; Sunday 3 is the correct date.

Tickets are available now via: www.pta-events.co.uk/ccsfriends and will close at 8pm tonight (Monday 27 November), so be quick!:

• Adults (16+) £5 with a free Mince Pie
• Children (4-16 yrs) £3 with a commemorative medal
• Under 4's go free

*the PTA site applies a small additional booking fee when purchasing tickets which covers the cost of the booking system*.

Christmas Hamper Raffle and Jumper Day
On Friday 8 December, we are hosting a Christmas Jumper Day! Similar to last year, instead of a monetary contribution in exchange for students wearing their own clothes, we are asking children to donate an item towards the Christmas hampers.

We would love these hampers to be filled with fabulous Christmas goodies such as chocolates, toiletries, candles, food, drink – in date and non-perishable please – stationery, cosmetics, etc. Primary children can start bringing in their donations from today onwards, with a hamper set out in each classroom. Tables will also be set up outside the grey school gates for secondary students to drop off their donations on the way into school on Friday 8 December.

To be in with the chance of winning one of these wonderful Christmas Hampers, raffle tickets are available to purchase for just £1 each or £5 a book. Booklets of five have been given out to all primary year groups (eldest sibling only if you have more than one child in primary) and to Year 7 students in tutor time. Children in Year 8-13 can purchase tickets directly from Secondary Reception.

Tickets for the raffle will close on Wednesday 6 December, and winning tickets will be drawn on Friday 8 December.

The funds we raise from all our events go straight back to supporting the school, so any contributions you can make, or involvement in our causes will continue to greatly benefit our students.
