  • The Big PTA Raffle

    CCS Friends regret, due to the current climate, we are unable to run the annual Christmas Hamper Raffle so greatly supported by the parents.  For this year, we are delighted to share the news that we have joined The Big PTA Raffle.

    Tickets cost just £3 each, there are 12 draws, that is, 12 opportunities to win up to £5,000!!!  Draws take place daily from 7 December till 18 December.  Tickets are limited and only on sale until 6 December.  50% of sales go straight to the school to benefit our children by funding equipment and resources to enhance their learning experience.

  • Vocab Express League of Champions

    After a 3-year absence from the Vocab Express League of Champions, all 157 of our Year 10 Languages students were entered into this global competition to compete over 7 days against 100+ schools and 11,500 students from all around the world, learning vocabulary from their GCSE specification.

  • 2020 Sixth Form Awards

    As we are unable to hold an awards event, this year’s sixth form awards took the form of letters of commendation, which were sent to students with their examination certificates. Commendations were awarded by subject teachers to those students who demonstrated a combination of exceptional attitude to learning and achievement in their subjects, as decided by subject teachers. Notable mentions have been given where a student is deemed to have made good progress or made a significant contribution to the class in a subject area.

  • Remembrance Day

    "The Community Council has collaborated with the Art department to make poppies to support Collingtree Care Home who are making a display to mark Remembrance Day. The students have made the poppies out of lots of different materials and as you can see in the photo, the students have been very creative in how they have made their poppies; they are going to look fantastic on the Remembrance Day display.  The Care Home were overwhelmed by the contribution of our students. Well done to all those students who supported this community project".
