On Monday evening (3^rd October) our Year 8 football team had their first fixture of the season, in the county cup playing Malcolm Arnold Academy.

In a very closely fought game, they prevailed, winning 6-4. All the boys showed fantastic team spirit and determination, especially after initially going 1-0 down. A special mention goes to K Pettit and N Esajobor who played in goal for half the game each. Man of the match is awarded to C Rosetti who scored five of the teams goals. The team now progress to the quarter-finals of the county cup.
