Our Year 6 cricket team took part in the Northamptonshire Sport Cricket Festival today and represented the school brilliantly, showing fantastic sportsmanship, teamwork, and determination throughout the day.

In the group stage, the team had a mixed but promising start, winning one match and narrowly losing another. Their strong performance saw them progress into the next round, where they again secured one impressive win and one close loss. These results placed the team in a very respectable 6th position out of 12 schools—a fantastic achievement in a competitive field.

There were some standout moments in both batting and fielding, with every player making valuable contributions. Big hits, quick singles, sharp catches, and accurate throws were all on display, showing just how far this team has come. The team spirit and positive attitude remained high from the first ball to the last, and they should all be very proud of their efforts.
