  • CCS Friends Recipe Book Competition Results

    Dear CCS students and parents,

    Thank you so much for all the recipe entries for the CCS FRIENDS Lockdown Summer Recipe Book 2020!

    We were overwhelmed with the response and have included as many recipes as possible.  If your recipe has not been included, you will still have received a house point for your entry.

    The winners – with such a feast of recipes this really was a difficult decision, however, the winners chosen by the House and CCS FRIENDS representatives who will all receive a delicious prize are:

    2. Kye’s Fruit Crumble by Kye McCabe
    3. The Giant Jaffa Cake by Gracie Atkins

    Pre-Loved Uniform

    If you are happy to donate your pre-loved logo uniform to CCS FRIENDS, please can we ask that you hold on to any items for now.  In the new academic year, we will look to set up an online uniform sale in order to raise essential funds for the school.

    Easy Fundraising

    This is such an easy way to raise money for the school! Every time you shop at over 4,000 retailers a donation will go directly from the retailer back to the school.  It really is that simple!

  • Recognition for CCS Student Cameron Douglas

    Published 13/05/20

    Fellow CCS student Cameron Douglas has been recognised for his incredible work in creating homemade PPE with his own 3D printer. After hearing Cameron’s story, both the Northamptonshire and Wiltshire Police force came together to help transport the PPE to Cameron’s grandmother who lives 70 miles away in a care home.

    This is a truly incredible gesture from Cameron during this tough period of lockdown - we’re all extremely proud here at CCS!

  • Primary Spring Summer Art Project

    Mrs Mason and Mrs Spedding are leading the Spring and Summer Art Project this term in Primary phase. We would like to inspire our pupils all together to help make our flower garden, to remember our CCS community while we are apart and to welcome us when we arrive back in school.

    Pupils can pick a flower from their garden, to sketch, draw or even paint their favourite flower. 🌼 All submissions should be photographed and send it to us by email with your name and class. We look forward to seeing all of your fantastic creations!

    The nominations for the Northamptonshire Education Awards are now open!

    Despite being separated by this new era of lockdown and isolation we continue to receive lots of messages from parents and students thanking our teachers for the hard work they do – we are incredibly proud of their effort and commitment to consistently push through the challenges and support our students.

    If you’d like to show your appreciation for our school and our teachers, we would be delighted if you could nominate us for an award in the Northamptonshire Education Awards. There are a variety of categories: English or Maths Teacher or Team of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award, SEND Team of the Year, Overall School of the Year and many others. Take your pick!
