  • 2020 Sixth Form Awards

    As we are unable to hold an awards event, this year’s sixth form awards took the form of letters of commendation, which were sent to students with their examination certificates. Commendations were awarded by subject teachers to those students who demonstrated a combination of exceptional attitude to learning and achievement in their subjects, as decided by subject teachers. Notable mentions have been given where a student is deemed to have made good progress or made a significant contribution to the class in a subject area.

  • Remembrance Day

    "The Community Council has collaborated with the Art department to make poppies to support Collingtree Care Home who are making a display to mark Remembrance Day. The students have made the poppies out of lots of different materials and as you can see in the photo, the students have been very creative in how they have made their poppies; they are going to look fantastic on the Remembrance Day display.  The Care Home were overwhelmed by the contribution of our students. Well done to all those students who supported this community project".

  • Loki Plummer - Super massive shoe

    We are immensely proud of student Loki Plummer, who had his work exhibited recently at the Royal Academy Youth Summer Exhibition in London. Loki's mum said "he was really pleased, the curator spoke with him and said they received more than 17,700 inspiring and inventive submissions from artists and whittled it down to 392 artworks" - we are incredibly proud.

  • October kids club at Northampton Active

    Northampton Active will be running a Kids Club over the October break. They understand and appreciate that there will be families out there who need childcare provided and their facility is Covid secure. They will be creating bubbles so that the same children stay together throughout the week, in order for a safe return to school.
