Sixth Form/Year 11 Netball Friendly v Pitsford
On Tuesday 22nd March, Pitsford travelled to CCS (along with the sunshine) for a friendly netball match. Between the two schools, we had four teams, so we played a friendly tournament and the purple team were the winners. It was a great afternoon of netball with some fantastic goals and defending and both teams showed enthusiasm and quality netball skills. Well done to all students who played!

CCS girls won the U13 Hockey tournament at Moulton School!
The girls played exceptionally well winning all 5 games against teams from Moulton, NSG and Malcolm Arnold. They scored some excellent goals, worked really well as a team and didn't concede any goals!
On Thursday 3rd March, the U16 boys travelled to Northampton Academy for the Semi Final of the County Cup.
CCS girls beat EWS in the semi final 4-1! The girls played exceptionally well throughout with some excellent goals being scored.
Goal scorers: O. Ndefo/ T. Warren
Managers Player: R. Mistry- for perseverance and determination the whole game!
The girls will face either, Duston or Moulton in the final.
Captains: O. Ndefo (Year 10) and T. Warren (Year 11)
The U12 lost 5-2 against Abbeyfield. The girls showed determination and resilience throughout and were a credit to the school. The girls have developed so much as a team. We are very proud in their first year of the school they reached the semi-finals! An excellent achievement!
I am looking forward to working with the girls in next terms training and developing their game as a team.
Well done girls,
Mrs Evans
CCS unlucky to lose by penalties in County Cup Semi Final!
The girls were down by 1-0 with 3 minutes to go. The game did not represent the score line with so many opportunities that made us seem like the dominate and stronger team.
An equaliser came with 3 minutes to go! The girls battled it out to the end making the game finish in penalties.
