    CCS 3 - 34 Sponne

CCS played their first league match against an incredibly talented Sponne side.  CCS battled well but Sponne proved too strong.  However it was great to be playing a league match again and I know this team will do well at other matches in the league.

Player of the Match - F Allen

  • Under 13's County Cup Boys Football v Kingsthorpe AWAY - 27/9/21

    Published 29/09/21, by Megan Innes

A dominant CCS performance saw the under 13's open up their school football journey in style and move into the next round of the County Cup with a 15-1 win.  Fantastic football played from the first minute until the last with the boys distributing the ball around the pitch with composure and efficiency well beyond their years.

Player of the match was B Campbell for his solid performance at the back and then transitioning up the pitch to also bag himself a hat trick.

  • Under 15's National Cup Boys Football V NSB at Home - 22/9/21

    Published 29/09/21, by Megan Innes

An all-round team effort saw CCS under 15's once again get the better of NSB at the start of the season with a 3-2 victory. A front to the back team effort saw CCS into the next round of the National cup, with some great debuts displayed in an already strong CCS team. Early pressure and a composed finish saw CCS come in at half time 2-0 up. However, an NSB comeback was always expected but after making it 2-1 a scramble in the box saw G Pannell make the game 3-1 before the boys managed to see the game out for a great 3-2 win.

Player of the match A Goude for a great debut at the back against top opposition.
