On Thursday 14 October our U14 Girls took part in the first round of the County Cup and won 5-1 against Wrenn School.

Published 07/10/21, by Megan InnesThe CCS Year 8 netballers travelled to EWS for their first league match of the season and in fact their first ever league match, given that no fixtures were able to be played in the last academic year.
They soon took command of the game and were strong in attack with F Bennet and R Mistry scoring lots of goals and working well in the circle supported by L Spencer at WA and Y Priest at centre.
The defence of H Hayle, M Scott and L Billingham did well to keep the EWS attack at bay.
Y Priest and K Kwijuka dominated the centre court and CCS were comfortable winners 33 – 0.
Well done to the CCS Year 8 team, with some lovely netball being played and great team work to secure the victory.

Published 07/10/21, by Megan InnesThe Year 10 netball team travelled to EWS for a league match. The game was played in great spirit by both teams and some lovely netball was played, especially in the centre court.
CCS worked hard and kept the EWS attack under control and were able to control the attacking goal third and score some excellent goals. Caroline Chisholm worked well in and around the circle with great play by E Busby, E Knight, P Smart, T Honeywood and R Mistry.
The defence was strong and the CCS defenders were able to reduce the shooting opportunities for EWS.
The final score was EWS 2 - CCS 16 A great all round team performance by this strong Year 10 team. Well done ladies!
